• About how long does it take to paint the exterior of a house?
  • From the day we show up with our equipment, normally about five days. The first day is devoted to surface prep. The next couple of days are spent sealing the house with caulking, as well as scraping off old and flaking paint, and repairing damaged siding and trim. At the same time, we are masking windows and doors (not enough to confine you in your house, don’t worry), and laying out drop cloths. Finally, we start putting paint up on the walls. Usually we will spray one side at a time and go around the whole house twice. Then we start with the trim work, while brushing or rolling any spots the sprayer couldn’t get. Then we put fixtures back up, clean up, and head out!
• Do you stain decks in Happy Valley?
